BFI London Film Festival
Went along with that journo, all round good guy, tell it like it is, film addict michael morgan to the launch of the 50th London film festival this am and what a treat it was. As well as being spoilt by coffee and danishes on arrival were also treated to some great trailers, wow its gonna be a great festival...

Hey WoIM,
I just found your Blog through the always very interesting michaelmorgan.co.uk site. I got say very impressed with the blog.
I hope you'll be covering some of female Blaxplotation films like Coffy & Cleopatra Jones over the coming weeks.
Can you recommend any of the films at the BFI London Film Festival?
Dark Disturbed Thoughts
There's plenty to suit everyone's taste. Particularly looking forward to some of the Gala screenings - Forest Whitaker as Idi Amin in The last king of Scotland, Peter O'Toole and Jodie Whittaker's developing relationship in Venus, and (wait for it!) Africa putting international financial institutions on trial for their role in perptuating third world debt in Bamako. Some definite must sees!
